Join a specialized NICU team in Peoria for a 13-week contract that offers a mix of rewarding patient experiences and professional growth. This role is perfect for registered nurses comfortable handling a variety of complex neonatal cases, including pre-term infants as tiny as 22 weeks, abdominal defects, and pulmonary hypertension. The 12-hour day shifts provide an opportunity to work within a supportive environment that includes a neonatologist available 24/7, along with APNs, residents, and dedicated nurse aides.
You will be responsible for titrating medications such as Fentanyl, Morphine, and Precedex, and troubleshooting equipment on state-of-the-art ventilators. This assignment stands out because of its focus on high-acuity neonatal care, where you’ll work alongside a committed team in a well-equipped unit with private rooms and specialized monitoring.
