Job Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame. The RN provides care using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources within the institution's philosophy. Responsibilities include performing unit-specific duties, implementing procedures and theories, maintaining accurate documentation, conducting initial assessments, developing and modifying care plans, ensuring patient and employee safety, and fostering professional development among peers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Illinois state RN License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
