American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least three years of relevant nursing experience and an active Illinois RN license.
Details- Medical/Respiratory unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 7am-7:30pm, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Rotating weekend and holiday shift requirements
- May float to other Carle Health facilities including Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and Carle Health Proctor Hospital
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation for the healthcare team
- Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety
- Collaborate with colleagues and offer constructive feedback to support professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Workers may not be continuously on assignment at Carle Health for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning
