American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a night shift, requiring an Illinois RN license and at least three years of relevant nursing experience.

• Night shift scheduling, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
• May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system for charting

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

• Responsible for a designated patient caseload, applying the nursing process to deliver individualized care
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops care plans based on patient and family needs
• Maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation to support interdisciplinary communication
• Modifies care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation
• Reports and/or corrects safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety
• Collaborates with colleagues and provides constructive feedback to support professional development
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel consideration
• RTO limited to no more than 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not work continuously for more than one year at this health system without a 6-month break in service
