American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring an active IL RN license and at least three years of relevant nursing experience.
Details- Med Resp unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating basis
- May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital
- Epic charting system used
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
- Reports and corrects safety hazards and incidents for patients and staff
- Collaborates with healthcare team members and participates in peer professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- RTO may not exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning to any Carle Health location
