Position: Vice President of Research | Complex Clinical Trials | Peoria, Illinois (IL)

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI) seeks a Vice President of Research (VP of Research) to join their industry‑leading team in Peoria, Illinois (IL).

Research Overview
  • Observational, Phase I, II, and III trials
  • Hemophilia Studies: AHAEmi, Chess US Study, JSBUS-BCDI XI, OBS
    17523, and OBS
    18140
  • Antithrombin Study: ATN-106
  • ITP Studies: PRNB and SCINR
  • Von Willebrand Disease Studies: BCDI-XII, Baxalta 071102, TAK-577-3001, Blood works VIP, and Zimmerman

Ideal traits
  • Experience with clinical and translational research in Hematology
  • Option to focus 100% on research or mix research and clinical time
  • Conducting, analyzing, and reporting research findings
  • Grant writing and funding acquisition for research projects
  • Seeking an MD/DO or PhD Candidate – MD/DO candidates with training in Pediatric or Adult Hematology are preferred
Compensation
  • Salary in the range of $100,000–$140,000 – Negotiable
  • Physician candidates with clinical practice will earn a salary in the range of $225,000–$280,000 – Negotiable
  • Comprehensive platinum‑level benefits and a retirement plan with a 5% match
