Overview

Gate Way at River City is seeking a Cook for our Culinary Team in our Assisted Living Community. Passionate cooks are expected to make a daily difference in the lives of residents and coworkers.

• Prepares, seasons, cooks and serves all items as designated on set menu for assigned meal; ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards and recipes
• Monitors and records temperatures of hot and cold foods through food preparation
• Checks and inspects food products and supplies upon delivery
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas in compliance with safe food handling standards
• Provides exceptional customer service

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Previous Food Service Experience (preferred)
• Serve Safe Certification (preferred)
• Basic Knowledge of Food Safety
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
