Overview

Base pay range: $21.20/hr - $26.47/hr in addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to total yearly income. Position:
Retail Store Manager.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). A Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading and developing staff, recruiting top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager analyzes financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjusts as necessary.

The role requires adherence to asset protection programs, inventory control, and marketing efforts to promote the business and acquire new customers. All employees may handle a wide variety of merchandise, including items such as tools, electronics, jewelry, and firearms (in FFL locations).

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues quickly.
  • Train and develop Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, manage cash drawers, and protect assets following procedures.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
  • Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
  • Maintain operating standards in line with First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to convey the store’s mission and profit objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, climbing, etc.) per applicable laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Minimum Age: 18;
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; 45+ hours per week; hours based on business needs.
  • Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Commission Plan

The commission is based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Details provided during interview. This description may not be exhaustive and duties may change as needed. Arbitration may be required for disputes. Payrates will not be below local minimum wage requirements.
