As an Account Executive, you won't just sell services; you'll champion local employers by connecting them with tools and expertise that make their workplaces stronger, safer, and more successful. You'll be the person who knows everyone—from chamber mixers to ribbon cuttings—and the one they call when they need help navigating the people side of business.
- Grow your territory:
Prospect, develop, and close new memberships across Central Illinois using a consultative, value‑based sales approach. - Engage existing members:
Strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities within your assigned book of business. - Lead local visibility:
Represent AAIM at community events, ribbon cuttings, chamber meetings, and professional associations—building trust and visibility through authentic engagement. - Collaborate for success:
Partner with internal subject‑matter experts to deliver complete HR and training solutions. - Drive results:
Manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce, meet revenue goals, and celebrate wins that make an impact on local employers.
- 3‑5 years of B2B sales or consultative account management experience with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- A passion and record of success in helping businesses grow and succeed through trusted relationships and smart solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- A self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently, manage your schedule responsibly, and stay aligned with team goals.
- A passion for community involvement—you’re energized by connecting with people, showing up, and representing a cause you believe in.
This is a full‑time exempt role (Mon. thru Fri., 8 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility). Expect about 10 % to 20 % travel across Central IL and St. Louis, MO—because the best connections still happen face‑to‑face.
Pay Range: $75,000 to $115,000 (OTE Base plus Commission)
