Job DescriptionAs a Crew Lead you will coordinate and supervise residential solar installations of all system types on rooftops and ground mounts. You will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Pay & BenefitsPay Range: $28‑$32/hr (DOE) + bi‑weekly install bonuses + benefits. Benefits include:

- Supervise the entire installation project and crew.
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity on the job.
- Perform installation on various roof types and ground mounts.
- Communicate with Roof Lead and Branch Manager regarding changes.
- Mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
- Accurately complete job documents, data, and photos.
- Foster teamwork to improve project completion.
- Operate company vehicles safely and manage tool/material inventory.
- Troubleshoot and correct project issues.
- Clean job sites and perform required travel.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education & Certifications
- High School Graduate or GED.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience, including at least 6 months leading a crew.
- Experience with electrical work and roof racking.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, safety‑first mindset.
- Can work safely at heights, on ladders, confined spaces.
- Can lift, pull, push materials, and work on feet for extended periods.
- Can climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and lift 50 lbs frequently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance; collaborative teamwork ability.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
- Use hands and fingers to handle tools.
- Stand, walk, run for long periods.
- Climb ladders, scaffolds, poles.
- Perform repetitive movements.
- Lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Work in hot, cold, wet or confined environments.
- Maintain balance in unstable positions.
Employee will travel for business purposes. Must have valid driver's license/insurance and ability to use personal vehicle to visit sites.
