Onsite Service Technician

We are hiring a Part Time Onsite Service Technician to join the team in Menomonee Falls, WI.

The Onsite Service Technician will provide maintenance and repair service for hoist and crane equipment. The Onsite Service Technician will also uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics as required to instill customer confidence and continued success in service.

• Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work.
• Perform preventive maintenance work as requested.
• Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and /or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineer drawings.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques.
• Document service installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection check‑list.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
• Develop a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
• Responsible for company equipment including, company vehicle(s), tools, etc.

• 1-2 years’ experience troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment, is preferred.
• Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology, preferred.
• Develop a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
• This is a physically demanding job involving standing, walking, sitting and the ability to lift 50-100lbs.
• Perform inspections to OSHA criteria.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capable of dealing directly with the customer and representing self and company in a professional manner.
• Communication skills both internally and externally, informing both the company and the customer the status of the job.
• Quality and results driven while maintaining a safety mindset.
• Required to use own hand tools and meter.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
