Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This fast‑paced role requires self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who can travel and learn in the telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates must reside in the Peoria, Illinois area.

• Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Performing maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑outs.
• Completing daily work reports accurately and timely.
• Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems (preferred).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Must reside in the Peoria, Illinois area.
• Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs as needed.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnight stays (company pays travel costs and provides per diem).
• Driving to remote work sites as required.
• Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lb.
• Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). rate: $30.00–$38.00 hourly/DOE. Base pay range: $30 USD – $38 USD. Compensation may include performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. Pay equity and transparency are maintained.
