What do our Commercial Pest Control Technicians do?Commercial pest control technicians perform industry‑leading pest management services for commercial customers. They identify, eliminate, and prevent pest infestations by conducting thorough inspections, applying appropriate treatments, and educating clients while adhering to safety regulations and communicating solutions.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following- Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
- Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
- Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
- Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
- Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
- Drive and safely operate a company‑provided service vehicle (routine maintenance provided).
- Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways.
- Work around animals, insects and termites.
- Handle mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals (training provided).
- Work both inside and outside in local climate with company‑provided weather gear.
- Move around regularly—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Wear personal protective equipment such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face).
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information internally and externally.
- Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Customer‑facing experience preferred.
Hourly: $15.00 – $20.00
Pay may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Earnings can also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
