We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the remainder of the 2025 school year!
Location:
Perkasie, PA 18944 Position Details:
* Hours:
8:30 AM - 3:50 PM
* Student Assignment: 1st grader with Autism
* Type:
Contract until the end of the school year Responsibilities:
* Support a student in meeting academic and behavioral goals.
* Provide necessary modifications and physical assistance to help the student access school facilities and curriculum.
* Adapt teaching materials as needed.
* Report to the Supervisor of Special Education and the Building Principal. Requirements:
* At least 6 months of experience working with students with behavioral needs.
* Familiarity with Autism and behavioral management strategies. Pre-Employment Clearances/Paperwork:
* PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
* Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
* FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
* School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB Test)
* PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
* Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
* CPR/First Aid Certification
