Trellis is part of LEARN Behavioral, a collective group of ABA providers dedicated to delivering collaborative care and nurturing the potential of children with autism and related needs.
Responsibilities- Work with children aged 18 months to 12 years, primarily ages 2-8 with autism and related needs, in homes or Trellis centers.
- Use play-based therapy based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help children learn, communicate, socialize, and build self-help skills.
- Engage with children in a safe, supportive environment and collaborate with families to reach individual goals.
- Potential to be promoted after learning the ropes of ABA, with opportunities for professional development.
- Minimum age 18 years on or before the first day of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
- Schedule:
part-time M-F 4pm to 7pm or other consistent weekly availability; full-time options with PTO after 90 days. - Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- Any of the following are a plus: bilingual (English/Spanish), studies in psychology/education/related fields, previous experience with children (babysitting, nanny, tutor, teacher, etc.).
- Starting pay at $20/hr and up with experience.
- Eligible for RBT certification.
- Full-time employees may earn up to 15 days of PTO after 90 days; sick leave available for part-time staff.
Physical requirements vary by client assignment and may include pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and running as needed by the client.
