Controller​/Cost Accountant

The Griffin Groupe is searching for talented accounting professionals to join our client company in the food manufacturing industry.

• Planning and directing all accounting functions
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business data
• Preparing internal and external financial statements
• Manage the budget process
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics
• Oversee regulatory reporting – frequently including tax planning and compliance
• Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Preparation and release of wire transfers / ACH’s
• Reconciliation of corporate bank accounts
• Coordinate physical inventory and cycle counts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain the Bill of Materials and update standard costs
• Prepare variance analysis (actual vs standard) and propose appropriate actions
• Develop productivity analysis tools

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting Manager / Controller role
• Minimum of 3 years Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have stable work experience and good attendance record
