Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, ensuring high‑quality patient care and adherence to state and federal regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the licensed physical therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
  • Build a strong physical therapy program.
  • Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other professional staff, as well as through continuing education.
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about profession‑related issues.
  • Understand various payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, providing quality care and achieving reasonable goals and outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
