- Ensure all parts are produced on time and are of good quality.
- Verify vinyl type and color against sketches before running.
- Measure and mark vinyl to ensure accuracy.
- Correctly label covers and end panels.
- Minimize material waste.
- Responsible for the care and preventive maintenance of equipment in use.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report violations, accidents and near misses to supervisor.
- Assist in the training of new personnel on safety, production, and quality standards and procedures.
- Follow instructions given by supervisor.
- Responsible for housekeeping in your area and the entire facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Team Player.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Read and understand complex sketches (on-the-job training provided).
- Obtain forklift certification within three months (on-the-job training provided).
- Basic understanding of hand tools and how to properly use them.
- Read a tape measure to the 1/16".
- Proficient in math, both decimal and inch calculations.
- Follow company safety procedures and processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year work history or military service with honorable discharge preferred.
- Accurately exchange information with co-workers and management.
- Heavy lifting (50lb) required on a regular basis.
- Traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
- Remain at workstation for long periods of time while using tools and machinery and performing repetitive actions.
- Manual dexterity to evaluate, modify and operate machinery and equipment.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
- Temperature of work environment ranges from 15°F to 110°F.
- Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 5:00 pm. Overtime required as needed.
