This role focuses on leading and developing teams through effective teaching, training, and active listening to associate feedback.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, managing, and coaching store operations using technology and business initiatives.
• Communicating for change efforts, setting clear expectations and guiding teams.
• Modeling high‑level customer service standards and managing community outreach programs.
• Directing financial performance, reviewing PL statements, and managing budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation.
• Providing supervision, training, and recognition for hourly associates, driving a sense of belonging.
• Communicating goals, building accountability, and measuring progress with stakeholders.
• Supporting company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and encourages continuous learning.
• Acting with integrity, ethical standards, and contributing to Walmart’s regenerative mission.

• Graduated college or equivalent (2 years of degree, 1 year retail experience, 1 year supervisory experience, or 2 years general work experience plus 1 year supervisory experience).

• Background check and firearms licenses if applicable (for sites selling firearms or ammunition).

• Completion of all required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related degrees.

• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
