Southeast Emulsions is seeking a safety-driven, results-oriented Terminal Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Perry, Georgia facility. This position is responsible for supervising terminal operations, leading personnel, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the safe and efficient production and distribution of products.
Southeast Emulsions is a hands-on leader who works closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective facility performance. This role is responsible for promoting a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting the Terminal Manager.
- Supervise daily terminal operations and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand, inventory requirements, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor raw material and finished product inventories to maintain operational readiness and supply continuity.
- Ensure equipment and processes are operated in accordance with company procedures and performance standards.
- Support terminal scheduling, logistics coordination, operational planning, and customer service activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Serve as the primary operational leader during the absence of the Terminal Manager.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Champion a strong safety culture through employee engagement, accountability, and leadership.
- Conduct safety meetings, facility inspections, job observations, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate safety, environmental, and regulatory documentation and records.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
- Provide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to terminal operators and plant personnel.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of employees.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.
- Support workforce scheduling and staffing requirements to ensure adequate operational coverage.
