Maintenance Technician

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at Berkshire Apartments in Perry, GA. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, while assisting the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, toilets, sinks, basic carpentry, and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

• HVAC certification with 3+ years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Physical ability to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• Availability for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Regular work hours are usually between 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required.
• Background screening and drug test required.
