Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (ED/Medical-Surgical) – Iowa

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every 3rd weekend; holiday coverage as needed. Overtime available at 1.25x base rate. Call rate available at $4/hour.

• Work closely with House Supervisor and emergency department providers and mid-level practitioners

• Board-certified emergency medicine physicians available 24/7
• Streamlined admission processes and skilled emergency medicine team
• Limited time-off requests considered (maximum 5 days; must be submitted at time of application)

Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN or Compact RN License
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2+ years current Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 2+ years Medical-Surgical experience
• High proficiency required in both ED and Medical-Surgical specialties
• Emergency Room Skills Checklist (current within 1 year)
• Medical-Surgical Skills Checklist (current within 1 year)
• Two supervisory signed references from within the past two years
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
• Reliable personal transportation required
• TNCC certification (preferred)
• PALS certification (preferred)
• BSN degree (preferred)
• Previous travel experience (preferred)
