Controls Engineer

You will be supporting our commissioning operations. You will also be responsible for the equipment implementation and service of electrical controls system PLC/HMI programming. In addition, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Responsible for support of OEM equipment at the manufacturing facilities, including remote or on-site support of worldwide manufacturing facilities.
• Assist with new equipment installation and implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OEM equipment controls-related issues.
• Interface with multiple customer departments to ensure controls policies and standards are adhered to.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures.

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; engineering or IT systems background is a plus.
• Experience working in a multinational team.
• Strong understanding of controls engineering techniques and practices for global customer facilities, including North America, Asia, and Europe.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs, including ladder logic and function block diagrams.
• Experience programming Rockwell Automation HMIs, such as Panel View Plus, Panel View Plus CE, and Factory Talk View ME/SE.
• Knowledge of programming Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs, including ladder and statement list logic.
• Basic understanding of corporate Ethernet architectures and systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
