** Position Summary
** Day In The Life:  As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will work to lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
* Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
* Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance
* Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
* Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

* Certification/licensed/registered  pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
* PTCB National Certification
