Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA)

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg, OH

Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help residents restore independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve meaningful recovery goals in a compassionate, resident-centered setting in Perrysburg, Ohio.

What You’ll Do as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Provide therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist residents with therapeutic activities, self-care training, and adaptive equipment use
  • Track and document resident progress, reporting updates to the OT
  • Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safe practices
  • Encourage residents to stay motivated and engaged in therapy sessions
  • Ensure services are delivered in compliance with Ohio state regulations and Kingston standards of care

What You’ll Need

  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license required
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)
  • Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
