Full-Time or Part-Time | On-Site | Ohio OTA License Required

Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help residents restore independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve meaningful recovery goals in a compassionate, resident-centered setting in Perrysburg, Ohio.

What You’ll Do as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

Provide therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

Assist residents with therapeutic activities, self-care training, and adaptive equipment use

Track and document resident progress, reporting updates to the OT

Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safe practices

Encourage residents to stay motivated and engaged in therapy sessions

Ensure services are delivered in compliance with Ohio state regulations and Kingston standards of care

What You’ll Need

Active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license required

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)

Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills

Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
