Medication Aide | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg, OHFull-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling
This fall, grow your career in a role where your work directly supports residents’ health and comfort. Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg is hiring Medication Aides to join our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation community. In this position, you’ll play a key role by safely administering medications, assisting with daily living needs, and supporting residents through their recovery and long-term care journeys.
Responsibilities- Administer medications accurately, safely, and on schedule in compliance with physician orders and state regulations
- Record medication administration according to facility policies and regulatory standards
- Monitor residents for changes in condition or side effects and promptly report concerns to licensed nursing staff
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, such as grooming, hygiene, and mobility, as needed
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents in both rehab and long-term care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Medication Aide certification (QMA, CMA, or MA-C) in the State of Ohio
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
