Calling all Night Owls! 3rd Shift Opening!
One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department’s Desktop Support team. Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable for this role. This will be a Third shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis.
Responsibilities- Supported IT systems for business and production plant manufacturing operations.
- Coordinated tasks with 2nd and 3rd level IT support and remote technicians, troubleshooting issues affecting servers and the plant wireless and wired ethernet networks.
- Used a Servicenow helpdesk application to manage IT support tickets to configure applications and repair hardware problems for user PCs, devices and applications.
- Used both Google GSuite and Microsoft applications as corporate standards.
- Maintained PCs with a standard Windows OS loaded with corporate applications.
- Assisted end users with Active Directory tasks, completed new user setups, applied company security policies. Corrected printer problems for office applications and part label printing. Set up deployments of new replacement PCs and printers.
- Collaborated with installers and IT teams during launch of plant floor systems.
- Worked with facilities personnel during network installation and maintenance.
- Assisted manufacturing technicians and operators who used applications for manufacturing part tracking and factory information reporting. Configured and debugged operation changes in those applications.
- Maintained gauging software (QDAS) which collected manufacturing part data.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.00/hr pay will be negotiable based on experience.

This is a fully onsite position in Perrysburg, OH.
