General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations across production, quality, and project management functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing leadership, a hands‑on management style, and the ability to ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic oversight, and people management to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Oversee and coordinate production, quality, and project management activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support supervisors, foremen, and department leads in improving manufacturing processes and asset utilization.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across all departments.
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks through effective communication and proactive problem‑solving.

• Monitor and evaluate key metrics related to cost, quality, and service delivery.
• Implement effective scheduling strategies to improve lead times and meet customer expectations.
• Foster employee engagement and retention by providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Lean Manufacturing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers.
• Research and analyze new market opportunities to support business growth.
• Strengthen customer relationships through consistent communication and service excellence.
• Drive initiatives to enhance product quality while minimizing waste and scrap.

• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of job shop and production operations.
• Proficiency with mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Proficient in Mastercam, Job Boss, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Journeyman Certification.
• Certified Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineer.
• Secondary education in operations, business, manufacturing, or a related field.
