Lako is seeking a skilled and motivated 1st Shift Machinist to join our team in Perrysburg, OH. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision components in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and product specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing tooling instructions, selecting and setting up fixtures, determining feed rates and machining parameters, and planning the proper sequence of operations to ensure accurate production. This role also involves modifying, repairing, and reworking parts and assemblies as needed while applying knowledge of machining practices, shop mathematics, metal properties, mechanical principles, and manufacturing processes. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to consistently produce parts that meet Lako's high standards.
