Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring a Production Associate for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. As Production Associate, you will be responsible for collaborating with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shift: 1st shift: 6AM to 4:30PM Monday to Thursday, overtime is possible on Friday's
Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor products constantly to ensure quality standards.
- Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
- Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues.
- Assist in other work areas when workload permits or requires.
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- Thoroughly complete all documentation, such as production reports.
- Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.
- Thoroughly inspect products for defects or errors.
- Verify size, color, and configuration of production utilizing labeling systems.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Job requires lifting up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills, ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner
