We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Flooring Salesperson to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent computer and communication skills, and a strong ability to guide customers through the flooring selection process. We want our customers to have fun decorating! This role involves ensuring an outstanding shopping experience from start to finish for our customers.

Based in Holland, Perrysburg, or Toledo

Job Type: Full-time

Greet and engage customers, provide expert advice on flooring products and installation options, close flooring sales.

Build relationships with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets.

Measure areas for new flooring, figure up square footage amounts and create floor diagrams. (We will train you!)

Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.

Stay up to date on flooring trends, industry developments, and product knowledge.

Must meet or exceed sales goals.

• Previous experience in closing retail sales is preferred, experience in flooring or interior design is bonus. We will train the right person.
• Ability to measure in home, close sales in home, create diagrams and figure up square footage amounts is required. (We will show you how!)
• Strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored flooring solutions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, some weekends, based on customer needs.
