Role SummaryCinemark Assistant Managers assist in overall theatre operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They are cross‑trained in all departments to support where needed and provide inspirational training to all employees.
Responsibilities- Follow the direction of the General Manager.
- Support the General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
- Work in all departments and theatre job functions.
- Train and coach team members in specific job functions.
- Assist in preparation of administrative and special reports.
- Inspect theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, and equipment.
- Report repair needs to the General Manager.
- Enforce dress code and customer service standards.
- Handle employee relations issues per policy; report via if needed.
- Adhere to Employee Relations Reporting Protocol.
- Maintain high work ethic, code of conduct, and safety procedures.
- Sanitize high‑contact areas and use PPE appropriately.
- Adapt to cleaning tasks and address safety or security issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school or GED graduate preferred.
- Completion of Management Accreditation Program basic courses.
- Basic food handling training and any required certification.
- Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol.
- Availability for flexible hours, evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Regular attendance.
- Energetic, friendly attitude.
- Excellent guest service, cash handling, math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Teamwork and independent work capability.
- Ability to accept direction and respond with urgency.
- Time‑management, organization, attention to detail.
- Leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching throughout theatre.
- Noise level may be moderate‑to‑high.
