Job Title:Warehouse Associate
Primary Objective:Perform general warehouse and inventory movement responsibilities in a safe and professional manner
Primary Functions:This position is responsible for inventory replenishment and put away and for supporting white glove delivery of equipment and supplies according to sales order, schedule and safety requirements.
Reports To:Team Lead, Warehouse Manager/VP of Ops
ScheduledHours:
Mon-Friday / 8:00am-4:30/5:00pm & Rotating Sat shift from 9am – 2pm
FLSA Status:Hourly
Key Areas of Responsibility- Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Manage return of all Vendor RA’s
- File all order and shipment paperwork
- Assist in maintaining efficient operations, following all OSHA / safety guidelines and escalating where safety concerns arise
- Pick, verify and package products according to pick tickets to support customer pick up, showroom pickup, Burkett deliveries and shipments
- Build packaging and crates for protecting large equipment through LTL and dedicated carrier shipments
- Process shipments inside of shipping tools and ERP system
- Pull and deliver daily Showroom transfers
- Daily Showroom inventory replenishment which includes picking and delivering large equipment
- Daily inventory movement of used equipment in / out Service department
- Ensure Saturday schedules are achieved.
- Serve as back up to Receiving, Staging, Shipping and Delivery teams within the warehouse
- Provide customer service, be courteous & problem solve
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver heavy equipment with use of material handling tools or vehicles
- Must be mechanically inclined to support building of crates or pallets
- Must have a valid driver license and proof of insurance
- Have ability to become forklift certified and OSHA 10 hour certified
- Highly organized and motivated, ability to work independently, and maintain accurate and detailed reports
- Great problem-solving skills; customer focused
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding time frames
- Exhibits confidence and contributes to team building through a positive attitude
- Demonstrates Courtesy, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, Responsibility, Accountability
Education Required:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift Experience a plus
- Knowledge of general material handling equipment and proper usage
