Parking Administration Assistant
22.2hrs per week;
Monday to Wednesday, 9am‑5pm. Permanent – £15,111.00 – £15,593.40 per annum (FTE £25,185 – £25,989). Pay award pending.

Our Parking Services Administration Team deals with a huge variety of tasks every day covering eight councils, making this a role that keeps you on your toes. From processing permits and taking payments to helping customers with the parking appeals process and managing a busy inbox, there’s always something new to get involved in.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail‑focused and enjoys helping people. Parking experience isn’t essential – whatever matters most is a positive attitude, confidence, willingness to learn and we’ll help with the rest. Responsibilities- Process parking permits and related documentation.
- Collect and process parking payments.
- Assist with parking appeals and related correspondence.
- Manage the Parking Services inbox and respond to customer inquiries.
- Support the team with other day‑to‑day administrative duties as required.
- Confident using IT systems and can quickly learn new software and processes.
- Clear and confident communicator, both over the telephone and in writing.
- Effectively plan, organise and prioritise workload.
- Have a keen eye for detail ensuring accuracy and consistency across a range of administrative, communication and customer service tasks.
- Remain calm, organised and professional when working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
