Job Role:

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with complex needs and SEMH.
• Assist with classroom activities under the direction of theClass Teacher.
• Use strategies to support engagement, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with the SENCO and external professionals.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Foster positive relationships with the child, staff, and parents.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience as aTeaching Assistantin a UKPrimary School.
• Knowledge of theNational Curriculum, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience working with Autism and supporting SEMH needs.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
