Welder Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Pershore.

Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday / 7am-12pm Friday.

Pay rate: £14-£15 per hour.

Contract:

Temporary to Permanent.

• Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications.
• Perform MIG welding on structural and tubular steel assemblies.
• Carry out fitting and assembly work where required.
• Work independently from engineering drawings.
• Use workshop equipment such as guillotines, press‑brakes, metal cutting tools, saws and other fabrication machinery.
• Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment.

• Strong MIG welding ability.
• Competent in reading and working from technical drawings.
• Good general workshop knowledge and practices.
• Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance.
• TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential).
• Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting.
• Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
