This is a precision-focused role where patience, concentration and good attention to detail are essential. The majority of the work is carried out seated at a workstation, making it an ideal position for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work in a clean and organised manufacturing environment.

Full training will be provided, although previous experience in manufacturing, ceramics, assembly, finishing or other detailed hand-work would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out light assembly of ceramic parts and components.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
  • Handle small and delicate components carefully to prevent damage.
  • Identify and report any defects or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation.
  • Work consistently to production requirements and deadlines.
  • Complete basic production and quality records where required.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • Work as part of a friendly and supportive production team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Is patient and comfortable carrying out repetitive, intricate work.
  • Has good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Is comfortable working with small components.
  • Can concentrate for extended periods of time.
  • Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Can follow instructions and work to specific quality standards.
  • Is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Previous factory or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Experience involving detailed hand-finishing, assembly, inspection or precision work would be beneficial.

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
