32,000 + 6,000 car allowance + bonus Permanent Full-time

We are looking for a driven and personable Business Development & Account Executive to join an established and successful business.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for winning new customers, growing sales and developing long-term relationships with an existing customer portfolio. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys the challenge of new business development but also understands the importance of excellent account management and customer retention.

The Role

• Develop new business by identifying and approaching prospective customers
• Arrange and attend customer and prospect visits
• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and account development
• Achieve agreed individual sales targets and business objectives
• Provide a consistently high level of customer service
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and sales requests
• Maintain accurate records and track sales performance
• Keep up to date with products, industry developments and sales techniques
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customers receive an excellent service

About You

• Flexible and able to communicate effectively at all levels
• A genuine new business hunter who also enjoys developing existing accounts
• Target-driven and motivated by achieving results

Experience selling to contract caterers, hotels and restaurants, would be advantageous but is not essential.
