Location:

Pershore
Pay: £13.52 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 7:45am–5:00pm;
Friday, 7:45am–1:00pm
IMMEDIATE STARTS

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver to join a well established company based in Pershore. This position has potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The role will involve completing deliveries across England. You will drive a range of vehicles, from Mercedes Sprinter vans up to 3.5-tonne Luton vans fitted with tail lifts.

Duties will include:

Completing up to six deliveries per day
Driving safely to locations throughout England
Operating Sprinter and 3.5-tonne Luton vans
Using a tail lift when loading and unloading deliveries
Carrying out vehicle checks before setting off
Completing all relevant delivery paperwork
Providing a professional service to customers
Ensuring goods arrive safely and on time

Working hours:

The standard working hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 7:45am–5:00pm
Friday: 7:45am–1:00pmCandidates must be flexible, as working times will change depending on delivery locations, customer requirements and traffic conditions. Earlier starts and later finishes are very common, particularly when completing longer-distance deliveries.

Requirements:

Previous van-driving experience
A full, clean UK driving licence. No points accepted.
Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes
Comfortable completing long-distance deliveries
Flexible regarding start and finish times
Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
Minimum of 12 months driving vans.
Multi drop experience preferred
A reasonable level of fitness to carry out deliveries.

Pay:

£13.52 per hour
PAYE only, holiday pay accrued
Option for weekly or monthly pay
