Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our innovative team, focusing on project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery of milestones. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, budget, and quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

Job Title:

Project Manager (Hybrid) Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules/plans using PSA tools to ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Define and document project scope, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project boundaries and deliverables.
  • Obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on the Baselined Project Scope at the end of the Design Phase.
  • Manage and control scope changes through a formal change management process, ensuring all modifications are approved and documented.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Process and track change orders, ensuring all modifications are documented and approved.
  • Monitor for potential budget overruns and provide timely Overrun Alerts and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Generate and update Project Cost Forecasts monthly for review with Finance at the Monthly Project Performance Meeting.
  • Gather and organize the project team responsible for delivering the project scope.
  • Confirm the availability of resources and define roles and responsibilities.
  • Initiate the design phase by outlining initial design requirements and expectations.
  • Facilitate a project kickoff meeting to align all stakeholders and set the stage for project execution.
  • Develop and implement quality plans to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Monitor and track project quality metrics and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure the team has detailed Test Scenarios documented and reviewed with the customer.
Essential Skills
  • Project management experience
  • Customer interaction skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Experience in robotics
  • PMP certification
  • Materials handling knowledge
  • Familiarity with Jira
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • BA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in the robotics or material handling industry
  • Experience with project forecasting
  • Experience working with engineering teams and customers
Work Environment

This role is 100% remote with a requirement to travel approximately 30% of the time to customer sites during installation phases. You will be part of a team with four other Project Managers, fostering collaboration and support. This is a Contract position based out of Perth Amboy, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
