As a Part‑Time Individual Support Worker, you will assist behavioral therapists in creating effective behavioral therapy programs tailored to children and adolescents. Your responsibilities include implementing individualized service plans, providing behavioral interventions in home and community settings, actively managing youth with behavioral challenges, developing and initiating safety standards, instructing youth on positive behavioral practices, monitoring and documenting observations of youth behavior, and developing engaging recreational activities to support emotional and social growth.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a college degree with one year of experience or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of three years of supervised experience implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents are essential.
