REGISTERED NURSE- MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH - PER DIEM - NIGHTS

Raritan Bay Medical Center – Perth Amboy, New Jersey

• Deliver nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence‑based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide safe and excellent individualized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other health‑care team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using bar‑scanning technology and document administration to ensure safety.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations at point‑of‑care electronically.
• Provide patient‑ and family‑centered education aimed at optimizing health and disease management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient discharge, ensuring safe transition and continuity of care.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire (applicable to hires on or after November 2019).
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience, or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.

Minimum rate of $44.24 hourly (subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and market data).
