Role OverviewThe Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Senior Charge Nurses and Senior Nurses across Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital. The role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and secretarial support to nursing leadership
- Manage communications and documentation efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and follow internal policies
- Use Microsoft Office applications including MS Teams and Excel
- Support day-to-day operations with minimal supervision
- Comply with Healthcare Support Worker Induction Standards and Code of Conduct
- Secretarial/business administration qualification or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of literacy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Working knowledge of Once for Scotland Policies
