For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Perth, Glasgow or Inverness.

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

We are seeking highly organised and proactive Project Coordinators to join our team. In these roles, you will provide essential support to project teams, helping to ensure the efficient coordination of project finances, meetings, governance milestones and reporting. You’ll work closely with project teams, finance and wider stakeholder teams to support the smooth delivery of projects across the portfolio.

You will
  • Manage project accounts, including raising purchase orders, ensuring suppliers are paid on time and responding to external supplier queries.
  • Coordinate and prepare project‑related meetings, ensuring they are appropriately scheduled, attended and that accurate, high‑quality minutes are produced.
  • Coordinate multiple reports and data inputs, ensuring deadlines are met and working closely with Finance to support external reporting requirements.
  • Assist with any additional, role‑specific administrative duties as required.
You have
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills; this is a busy role that offers exposure to the wider business and the opportunity to work with a broad range of stakeholders and project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workloads while meeting demanding deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proven ability to problem‑solve, prioritise effectively and work in a collaborative and efficient manner, supported by strong communication skills.
  • Experience of managing or supporting project finances is beneficial.
  • A sound understanding and practical experience of working with multiple software packages and systems, including O365 (such as Power

    BI) and internal systems.

The successful candidate would be expected to travel between different SSE offices/project sites, with the occasional overnight stay. Therefore, a driving licence is required.
