Location:

For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.

Salary:

£36,200 - £54,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

As a Project Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the portfolio. Working as part of Programme and Project Services, you will provide flexible support across areas such as reporting, governance, change management, data analysis and process improvement.

This is a varied role where priorities may change depending on business need. You may initially focus on supporting portfolio reporting before moving into areas such as helping to embed change management processes across a new Directorate. You will help ensure project information is accurate, timely and clearly presented, supporting effective decision-making across our programmes and projects.

You will
  • Provide flexible support across Programme and Project Services, moving between areas such as reporting, governance, change management and process improvement to meet portfolio needs.
  • Produce reporting, analysis and insights that help identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities across projects and portfolios.
  • Prepare high-quality information and materials for governance forums, supporting effective and informed decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of project information and data.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project processes, tools and ways of working across the business.
You have
  • Experience working in project controls, change management or a similar environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or risks
  • Good communication skills, with confidence working with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to challenge, improve processes and bring new ideas
