Full-time site based     About the Role     We are seeking an experienced Principal Bridge Engineer to support the site supervision and contract management of a major highway project within the Perth & Kinross region.

Key Responsibilities    
* Provide site supervision for bridge construction activities on a major highway scheme.
* Monitor contractors' quality systems and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.
* Assess, advise on and negotiate contractors' claims.
* Support the Employer's Representative across the delivery of the works.
* Provide contract management support across measure and value, design and build, and other forms of contract.
* Monitor construction activities and provide technical engineering input throughout project delivery.

* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Significant site-based experience in bridge construction on highway schemes.
* Extensive experience monitoring contractors' quality systems.
* Proven experience assessing, advising on and negotiating contractors' claims.
* Experience acting as an assistant to the Employer's Representative.
* Experience with measure and value, design and build, and other forms of construction contract.
* Experience supervising steel construction and cable-supported structures would be beneficial.
* NEC4 Supervisor qualification would be beneficial.
