Customer Service Assistant (Temporary) On-site | Free Parking Available Full-Time Temporary Role Competitive Hourly Rate Are you an experienced Customer Service professional with excellent administration skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy and friendly operations team on a full-time temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring a seamless customer journey from order to fulfilment.

The Role As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting customers, sales teams, and operational colleagues by processing orders efficiently and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving issues proactively, and helping to deliver outstanding service standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities Processing customer orders accurately using company systems Reviewing orders to ensure they meet stock availability, credit status, and ordering requirements Coordinating transport and third-party logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries Monitoring stock availability and escalating supply issues when required Keeping customers and internal stakeholders updated on order progress Producing and checking invoices to ensure accuracy Investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently Managing and maintaining accurate documentation and records Supporting reporting on sales activity and stock levels Working closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 3 years' experience within a customer service environment Excellent administration skills and strong attention to detail Experience processing orders and managing customer enquiries Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels A proactive and organised approach to work The ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines Confidence using business software systems such as Sage or similar ERP systems Experience liaising with logistics providers or coordinating deliveries would be advantageous What's in it for You?
