We are looking to appoint a compassionate, dynamic Pupil Support Assistant to join our dedicated Pupil Support team at Inch View Primary School.
In this role, you'll make a real difference by supporting children with additional support needs (ASN) to access a meaningful and inclusive curriculum. You'll work closely with teachers and colleagues to help pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, and in class.
- Assisting with positive behaviour approaches.
- Helping pupils during transitions, breaks, and school activities.
- Supporting intimate care routines where needed.
- Using ICT to enhance learning.
- Contributing to personal learning plans and inclusive practice.
What We're Looking For
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children with ASN.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.

Creative, Ambitious, Respectful and Engaged. - Experience with ICT, moving & handling, and behaviour support is desirable but not essential.

A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of the above mentioned mandatory pre‑employment checks, including references, and will also include eligibility to work in the UK, qualifications and fitness to undertake the post.
