UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the area of Hospitality, in particular Professional Cookery. The role will involve conducting work-based assessments and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates. This includes undertaking vocational qualifications, developing industry and employer links and generating new business for the college.
The role requires a flexible, proactive and versatile approach, with the ability to support delivery across a range of programmes, most of which are work-based. This post may suit someone working in the industry who would like to get involved with the supporting of teaching.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified with industry recognised qualifications, such as L&D awards (assessor qualifications), and have relevant industry experience.
